The resort met our expectations in its beauty, luxury, and service. The setting is stunning with reefs off their beaches accessible by just swimming with a mask and snorkel(free!). It is on an isolated island 40 minute boat ride from Coron town proper. The food is awesome, but not all the restaurants are available everyday. Our stay at Bacau Bay was wonderful! The property was beautiful with great facilities and the staff were so nice and helpful. We spent an entire afternoon relaxing in their beautiful pool and ordering poolside food and drinks. It’s also a short tuktuk ride into town, which the hotel staff were easily able to help call for us. We only stayed one night but could have easily spent many more there.

We loved this resort! The views are fantastic! Each unit has a terrace for sitting and enjoying the views. They also have made several other places with comfortable chairs and hammocks to sit and enjoy the time. All sorts of water sports are available: kayaks, snorkeling, island hopping, and of course diving! We are not divers but we loved everything else. Stayed for three nights and had an EXCELLENT experience. Relieved to have booked the Bayview room, especially now after reading some of the negative reviews regarding the rooms facing the back of the hotel. Keep in mind it’s a small town, so obviously there are going to be roosters like the norm in the Philippines. It’s a beautiful hotel with stellar management and staff. With each day we stayed there, we became more enchanted with the place. Easy tricycle ride into town for dinner at Lobster King or other local Coron restaurants. Great tour packages for island hopping book all at front desk. Nice pools. Close to docks and town. Easy shuttle from airport. Good breakfast buffet every morning. Overall a good 4 night stay for the price. They have a spa for massage at night.

Had a pleasant experience in our stay. The pool was stunning. The ambiance was refreshing. Plus, staff went above and beyond from day 1.

Great hotel in a quiet location off the main road. About a 10 minute walk to the town proper which isn't bad. Room and staff were great, as well as the breakfast.

I was expecting "white sand beaches and clear warm waters" as seen in the ads so I paid the price for a "Beach Front Room' only to find out that there is no white sand beach - only mud and muddy waters! We found out later that the islands with beautiful white beaches, clear waters and lagoons can only be reached by boat at a very pricey cost - $120-150 per person depending on your island destination. Staff are very accommodating and helpful the room is very spacious and always maintained the cleanliness. breakfast has variety of unlimited food from 6am till 10am.

We had an amazing stay in Sunz. The staff were always greeting us and always ready to help if in need. They are always accomodating. They were very helpful in finding us the tours. So glad none of our time were wasted in Coron as we had our days filled with tours! We stayed in the room just right in front of the pool where we can just dive in any time. We are so pleased that we booked at this hotel because. The location is superb as it is close to pretty much everything you need. The staff here are always very helpful, honest, and reliable. Our room was very clean and it was quiet as well. So, we definitely got some much needed rest at night after a long day of activities.

We received excellent service from everyone in this hotel from the front desk to the restaurant crew. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is within walking distance to the stores, restaurants, and bars. The maket and boat dock are in the same spot and only a short tricycle trip away. What a great find CBM was!!!

I have to start off by saying that staying at Paolyn Houseboat was a leap of faith for myself, my wife, and our 3 children. To be isolated in a lagoon next to an island with no degree of infrastructure, caused us some level of uncertainty. We spent 5 nights here in April …. WOW! Peaceful, stunning pool, great variety of western and Filipino meals. Bedroom had everything we needed … great shower, comfy bed, lovely balcony over looking the pool. Very courteous staff and a huge shout-out to Dave the bartender for going above and beyond every night we sat there. Amdo the GM was polite and caring and checked on us almost everyday. Awesome room great hotel and service! Really good bang for the buck. But just make sure to bring your own lotion and conditioner because it is not provided.
