"Food was amazing. Didn’t eat the raw seafood. Both my aunt and her friend got sick from eating that. But they loved all the other food and hadn’t gotten sick till they ate that. The service is impeccable. I would say check in and check out could be more efficient. It’s veryyyy slow and that required patience that I was struggling with. But overall the service, the location, the rooms, everything was beautiful. "

"If I could give this property more stars, I would. We travel extensively, and this has become one of the most professional, customer-oriented, high-quality resorts we've been to. I've been there twice now, and it has improved even from 2 years ago. It is challenging to find an all-inclusive that does not consistently try to upsell products and services, but Grand Velas does not do that. In addition, I have found recently that it is tough to find a hotel or resort where employees seem happy to be there and who are exceedingly customer-focused - Grand Velas has managed to find the margic combination and I cannot wait to return."
