"The best of both worlds! This property is stunning, and it really offered the best of both worlds. We were able to experience resort-style amenities and service, while enjoying the space of an AirBnB. Our suite was huge and gave us ample room to enjoy ourselves. It was nice to be able to cook some meals in the suite, although they could definitely stand to upgrade their kitchenware. The pool is huge, and we really enjoyed the swim-up bar. The restaurant sits right on the water, and we were really impressed with the food there. The service is top-notch from the bar to the housekeeping staff. *A note about the location: Placencia is a lot bigger than I realized. This property is in an area that is mostly just resorts and a handful of restaurants. A little further South is Maya Beach, which is quite nice. If you want to actually visit Placencia Village, it's a good 20-30 minute drive. So this is the perfect location for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. But if you want to be in the heart of Placencia, go further South. "

"Bella Sway was an awesome place to stay! Had everything we needed for our home-away-from-home. Comfy beds, beautiful porch overlooking the Caribbean, well-stocked kitchen for cooking up the fish we caught on an excursion. Lovely beach views. Snorkeled off the beach and spotted some manatees! We even managed a couple days of swimming despite an influx of sargassum on the last days of our trip, but that’s Mother Nature for you! Great location for walking to some fantastic local restaurants. We were grateful for the excellent guidebook that Lori and John provided. Thanks for sharing your home, we made some beautiful memories and we are already making plans for another trip!"

"Our stay at this beautiful home in Belize was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as pictured online—perfect in every way. The pool area and beach were where we spent most of our time, and both were truly picture-perfect. The beach was cleaned daily and looked pristine every morning.The staff made our stay extra special. The wonderful ladies who came by each day kept everything spotless—they always had fresh beach and bath towels ready, cleaned our rooms daily, and refreshed our bathrooms. They also made the most delicious homemade tortillas and even took the time to teach us how to make them, which was such a fun and memorable experience.Big Mac really sets the bar high. He did everything for us—from cooking delicious breakfasts and lunches to mixing drinks and assisting with our boat excursions. He was always there, ready to help with anything we needed. His energy, kindness, and attention to detail made this trip extra special. Honestly, the trip wouldn’t have been the same without him!Carlos was equally amazing. When one of our guests experienced motion sickness on the bus ride, Carlos was incredibly kind and helpful—he moved her to the front and talked her through the entire ride. He was also our boat driver and took us to some of the most breathtaking spots. He was truly a “lifesaver” in every sense of the word!We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!"

"This place is new for this season and wow did they hit it out the park. The staff and owners were just the best I’ve ever came across travelling. The food at breaky was top notch. The bar on the beach with Elvis as the bartender couldn’t have been any better. Honestly this place is the go to spot in Maya beach for comfort, relaxation, home feeling and just wish I could think of soo many other words to describe how this place made me feel. I can’t wait to go back. The access to the beach was stellar. Must stay if your in Belize. Little pricey to be honest but that was the only drawback and even then with all the other things involved maybe the price is where it should be. "
