"First Time at Dreams Onyx After researching and reading reviews for weeks, we decided to stay at Dreams Onyx. The Dreams Hotel chain is well-known in the Dominican Republic, and having had a great experience at their La Romana location, I felt confident in making this reservation. Property: The property is huge! Be prepared for a lot of walking, although golf carts are available on request to transport you around. We stayed in the preferred section, though I'm not sure if that made a significant difference. Check-in: Check-in went smoothly. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, explaining the layout of the property and the benefits of the preferred areas. We weren't greeted with a drink as expected, but we did receive cool towels to wipe our faces in the heat. Our room wasn't ready immediately, so we were guided to a golf cart in the lobby that took us to the buffet restaurant for lunch. One interesting note is that there are no bracelets to distinguish guests who paid extra for preferred services. Room: We stayed in building 6, which is closer to the beach and the main pool—convenient for walking. The room was well-prepared and stocked, and the bed was super comfortable. It didn't feel humid or muggy. However, note that there are few elevators in the building, with only one at each end, which can make navigating a bit tedious. Food: The property has 7 restaurants and several beachside snack spots, as well as a 24-hour café near the lobby. Surprisingly, we love"

"This is an excellent hotel, rooms are incredibly clean. the restaurants are very varied, with good food always available. the wait staff is very attentive with your orders and any other needs. The entertainment team is excellent, especially Jilver and July. The shows are very, very entertainment , and the there is always something to do. The bartenders Rosa Maria and Isael are very attentive, and airways there when you need them. I highly recommend this hotel. This is excellent."
