"The price was good but when my wife and I got to our room the first thing she noticed was clumps of hair on the floor of the bathroom and it the sewage odor coming from somewhere also. I only noticed the remote for the tv was sticky but other than those three things it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen, I’d give this property another chance"

"Great staff, easy parking, clean, AC and heat. Our room was for 3 people and was a kitchenette suite. Easy walk to downtown. Keurig type coffee maker with pods in the room. Multiple pairs of ear plugs included in the room? Who does this ? Super thoughtful of management. No traffic noise or neighbor noise. Early morning dumpster pick up was the only noise but they have to be picked up sometime. No fault of the motel. We really enjoyed our stay and they earned their high rating. We will be back. "

"Really don’t know how it got a “wonderful” overall rating on hotels.com… it is a very dated, kind of damp and dingy place. Some upgrades have been made, like new headboard and media console, but the rug is dingy and dark, the bathroom and shower had cracked tiles that were attempted to be recaulked, and the walls and floors let all the sound in from the other rooms and outdoor hallway. The window overlooking the pool had condensation all over it… we were on the 2nd floor so not sure why the condensation. I get it, the salty air doesn’t help keep buildings nice, it wears them down faster. But wish the ratings actually reflected reality, so we had known what we were getting into. The guy at front desk was pretty abrupt and didn’t give us any info on the building. I asked if he thought there was parking further back in the lot, instead of where I was parked near the parking lot entrance and street… he didn’t check or think twice, he said “keep your car there” but when I walked to our room, there were several spots (seemly safer spots as they would have been away from the general road more). The woman at the front desk the next morning was friendly. Overall this place is a solid 2-star hotel. It’s not a diamond in the rough or a hidden gem. "

"Easy to find, a lot of construction workers staying there. There multiple places where there was vomit in the parking lot. The rooms were clean but you can hear everything from the other rooms. As a family I will not be staying there again. "

"The beach view was AWESOME. Deck was gorgeous. Staff was super nice. Parking was easy. Our neighbors the first two nights was super loud and kinda wild, and the walls are thin, but a manager offered to give us a different room, which was extremely nice. We wound up staying, and they chilled out, ultimately. We were able to bring our dog, it was a super easy walk to the boardwalk, and you basically fall out onto the beach. We’ll absolutely be back! 💕"
