The traditional Japanese style room was great and we had a beautiful thirteenth floor view of the green lush mountains. Paddleboarding nearby was also great. Nice town and wonderful people.
Huge nice resort with beautiful indoor and outdoor onsens. Breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious and variety of different cuisines from various regions. Walkable to lovely bridges nearby. Comfortable stays.
excellent service and many different choices of Onsen with high quality water. The staff was very nice referring us night luminaries for us to attend. It was complimentary and very good going. Dinner was simply an out of this world experience. we had a great time, thank you!!! They definitely greatly exceeded our expectations!!!
Great big hotel with all facilities, activities for family, shopping. Very big room with fantastic view. Various options of breakast with excellentquality, huge restaurant than you can imagine. The onsen is very big, there are indoor and outdoor onsen. A bit walk distance to futami bridge or about 3 bus stop. We enjoy staying here.
They have a few hot springs that you can enjoy at different time. The water lagoons is very big and enough water slides suitable for kids.
The room is spacious and clean with bathroom , fridge and hot water pot as standard Japanese hotel room.
The breakfast is excellent with fresh seafood sashimi. Compared with dinner is just good, variety choice but not as many as fresh seafood sashimi and fruits provided .
Easy parking with larger parking slot right next to the hotel.
The highlights were the location and the very good dinner and breakfast buffets. Otherwise it was underwhelming in all other respects. Hard beds and even harder pillows. Air conditioning is summer only so even though it was the beginning of October the bright Sun heated up the room to 90° f with the curtains closed. Some of the furniture was pretty beat up and the carpets rather worn. Did not use the mineral bath because the room was so hot it would have been incredibly uncomfortable.

Great stay and facilities, with renovation needs.
Family trip with 2 kids. A bit worn down room and facilities, but perfectly clean and with everything you need. The onsen was great, however parts of it was closed due to maintenence. The Lagoon pool area was well made and appreciated by the kids, with areas both for the very small ones and the bit older.
Not many restaurants around, so advice is to book dinner at the hotel. There are two convenience stores walking distance away.
Had a lot of large bus tourist groups that were quite loud and overbearing in the hallways and lobby area. Some staff spoke limited English and couldn't understand our requests. Excellent area around the hotel, very walkable.
The property is old and in need of renovation in some areas. Large tourist groups use the property which makes the dining areas and spas extremely crowded.
This is one of my worse hotel experience. Not to mention a "supposedly" family recommended hotel. We came due to the waterpark. However the waterpark was poorly maintained, very run down and to the water was not onsen warm water but cold water. We were greeted by non English speaking guest relation officer. Despite we booked a japanese western style room that can accomodate up to 5 guest. They insisted in charging addition charges for our 2 children! And the additional charge was an addition JPY 16000 ( Sgd 160) for 1 night. It was already late and after hovering with a non english speaking guest relation officer that is inflexible. It was already late hence we blame it on bad luck and paid for it. But for others who plan to have a great time with your family. We will not recommend this hotel. The rooms have a bad musky smell. In total we spent near to sgd400 1 night stay.
