"We travelled to Amsterdam and chose this hotel because it's a short train ride to the city, and more affordable and quaint. The location was very convenient - a three minute walk from Leiden Central station. While the room was ready when we arrived, we were charged $10 euros/hour to access it early. I feel like this was a simple money grab, but we were happy to drop our bags off and explore the city!
Our room was incredibly clean and spacious. While we didn't need the room cleaned while there, the team was great at making sure we had our coffee replenished. We were happy to see a windmill, immediately outside of our window.
We were short walks to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store for supplies - although there was no fridge in the room (staff graciously gave us a jug of ice each night, either for drinks in the room, or to keep food chilled).
I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Leiden or Amsterdam!!! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did not eat breakfast on site."
