"Just a two night stay for an event only a stone’s throw away.The room was spacious and bright, a great view of the south bay through the double doors, very comfortable bed with two armchairs a small table. We had two wonderful meals in the evenings, along with a fantastic breakfast spread. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk too. Above all a very lovely hotel in a beautiful location."

"Just had a 3 night stay at The Old Lodge with my 7 year old son. Everything was as good as it could be, amazing room overlooking the grounds, really comfy beds, nice bathroom, everything nice and clean, staff were brilliant really friendly and professional.. we didn't eat in the evening here we ate out every night but the breakfast was lovely plenty of choice for my son... Couldn't ask for more really and Malton is a lovely little place lots of shops and pubs ... Overall I'd give The Old Lodge 10/10 !!"

"We had a fantastic stay. The bed was comfy, the room was small but functional with all nice high quality amenities. Bathroom was clean and well decorated with a modern look. Breakfast included and it was the best full English I’ve had in years. No skimping on quality. Price on taps for beer was pretty high but it’s a hotel. They always are. Beautiful building and surroundings. I have no hesitation that we will be coming back. "
