Zach was extremely personable and helpful, as were all other front desk staffers!

It wasn't fancy but it was clean, comfortable, safe, and afordable and I would definately stay there again.Tbe view was beautiful.

Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!

After traveling a long way I was greeted at the desk by a wonderful female staff. She provided me dinner recommendations and reminded me of the complementary beverages in the lobby. The room was very clean and there were plenty of towels. It was a little tricky to find as the road sneaks up on you even with GPS and the room was a little thin but everything else was worth it. The Shandaken Inn is a gem of a property! Our room was spacious, spotless and so inviting. And the staff, particularly Marissa, made us feel so welcome and at home with her warm personality. The breakfasts were outstanding and the entire property is just beautiful! There are also great hiking options close by. We wouldn’t hesitate to book a room here again!

The rooms were extremely clean spacious breakfast in the morning was very good 12 o’clock. Checkout is amazing. Did not utilize the pool but the check in on there it looked clean.

This is the third time we have stayed here over Thankgiving while visiting relatives in the area. it is such a quiet lovely old house and the owners are very accomodating and exteemly nice. Lots of room, very comfy living room with fireplace and big chairs. The included breakfast is fantastic. The kitchen is always open for tea and homemade cookies. Scent free linens and towels a huge plus.

Our family stayed in multiple rooms for 2 nights in April during spring break so we could visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The hotel was one week new and in a great location. The staff was friendly, helpful and on point. They really did a great job with the guests. The pool is an average size, nice, heated, and there is an outdoor space as well. For anyone who walks daily, there is a nice space around the hotel along the creek. They have a daily continental breakfast that worked out...
