"Really outstanding stay. We arrived several hours early and decided to see if by any chance our room was ready ahead of check-in. It was, so we were able to get unpacked early - no fuss. Great view of Bodega Bay from our very spacious room. Though we didn't jump in the pool, it was situated in a location that really ameliorated most of the coastal winds that can make pools really chilly places, and the water seemed to be quite warm despite the cool temperatures prevailing. The restaurant is across Highway 1, which is not as daunting as it sounds - many people probably walked, but our old bones preferred to hop in the car for a 3 minute drive. Food was fine and the staff was very pleasant. The attached fish market/deli is excellent"

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view of the ocean was just what we'd hoped for. The grounds however were full of burs and cat tails so if you bring your dogs is gets to be a problem. The extra toiletries and treats in the kitchen were a nice surprise. But all the dishes were cracked or chipped and the pots and pans were in bad condition. Overall we enjoyed the house."

"Das Haus wird natürlich seiner Lage wegen gebucht. Und, Ja, die Lage und die Sicht sind fantastisch. Aber auch der Vorgarten und der Garten sind traumhaft gepflegt und schön, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Bis auf Ameisen in der Speisekammer und der Küche und ein quietschendes Bett gab es nichts, was was den Genuss trüben könnte. Einen Fuchs haben wir nicht gesehen, aber ein Waschbär, Rehe, Wühlmäuse und jede Menge Vogelarten."

"We had an amazing stay with enjoying a magnificent oceanfront view everyday from dawn to sunset. Great amenities which made our stay so comfortable and wonderful. Cari the host was amazingly great, making our journey in Bodega Bay a memorable lifetime experience. We are already planning to come back in July. Thanks again Cari!"

"We had an awesome vacation at Driftwood cottage. The yard is big and the dogs loved the space. The kitchen was well stocked. The check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were able to get many streaming services for movies etc and Internet was excellent. It’s about 30 minutes to bigger cities like Petaluma, Sebostopol. Because of an endangered bird dogs aren’t allowed on the beach but we were able to find a trail in the neighbourhood and a couple on bodega bay with paid parking. Doran beach allows dogs. It’s very quiet here in Salmon Creek which was great for R&R. We had a great stay! Thank you Jennifer "

"This place is magical! You absolutely cannot beat the views from every room except the downstairs queen suite. The beach is just across the road, but the walk down is definitely for those steady on their feet. We enjoyed walking on the beach walk, relaxing in the hot tub with incredible views. Eating dinner and lounging with incredible views. The kitchen and living areas have everything you should need and our very comfortably furnished. We even experienced a power outage while we were there (due to very high winds) but the gas fireplace lit up the living area nicely, and the owner quickly pointed us to where to find several lanterns. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. Neighborhood and landscaping were lovely. I would highly recommend this rental!"
