"It's a unique little place in the heart of the Prenzlberg district of Berlin. Just a block from Schönhauser Allee S & U train station and also a block from historic Gethsemane church. "The front desk was not open at all twice when we went to check in. A third time we went back and they were kind but no one spoke any English. I couldn’t communicate needs (extra towels or glasses). The location says Prenzlauer Berg but this isn’t in the center of that cute area. It’s more on the outskirts. "I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!"
