The room and bathroom were immaculately cleaned and well kept and the host is a gem who cooks the best breakfast which includes lovely free range eggs from her own hens. Waking up in the morning to the view over a beautiful garden beyond the lake to Skiddaw was an extra treat as each morning there was a new ever changing Lake District vista. I'll definitely be back! All other aspects of the stay were excellent brilliant setting lovely food and excellent staff. The only small let down is bedroom wallpaper which could do with an upgrade."
