"This property was incredibly beautiful. This hotel is more for couples and my husband and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Everyone on the staff went over and beyond to assist you with whatever you need. The atmosphere was great as well. The perfect get away to relax, reflect and restore. My husband and I would like to thank specifically Curtis,Emmanuel, Ivan, Alfonso, Noel and Francisco. Thank you!"
"We have stayed here a few times with our dog and it is a convenient halfway point between Hermosa and Pavones. Very secure and safe, great restaurant onsite, and big, clean rooms with everything you need for a short or extended stay."

"Awesome place the staff after a few days started to feel like family. The views that we had there were excellent. The food was very good, the pool and the villas are top notch. Extremely clean and they maintained our rooms every time we left it. The staff were incredible supporting with all our activities we did and the planning our breakfast in the morning before our morning expeditions. Everyone there made the experience just so much better and eventful. Y’all did very well. Good job people. "

"We love Casa Toucan! So glad we picked this amazing home. It is exactly as pictured except better. A true Costa Rican home. Need a 4x4 it is straight up the mountain. Open living room with big screens with glorious views. The temperature was perfect being so high up & the fans kept us cool. The view of the jungle valley was incredible. The kids LOVED the giant pool and swam every day. We watched (and heard) howler monkeys, toucans, Acaris, hummingbirds, butterfly’s, green parrots, squirrels and coatis that came to the yard-valley for ten days straight. There was a bird book to help identify what we saw. Bring binoculars and download the Merlin bird app! It was rainy season and we loved sleeping there with the pouring rain at night. It’s really like a giant, comfortable treehouse! Huge master shower with tons of hot water. Lots of towels and blankets and beach gear. Kitchen is very well stocked and there is a full size refrigerator. We were back home by dark and cooked in every night. We felt incredibly safe. No mosquitos! The property manager Rolando was super kind and always available through WhatsApp to answer questions or help out. Rob and Lynne also answered my many questions when booking and we can’t wait to be back. "

"I'm so happy that we found this place. This will be a spot we always return to for our family visits to Costa Rica. It's perfectly located near some of the BEST BEACHES and SURF spots in the world! We had SO much fun. How many places have their very own Private Waterfall, fresh Fruit Trees, sky view swimming pool, and top notch security. I wish we could've stayed longer.Ben is an absolutely amazing host. He was always friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better host.We'll be back soon!!! "
