"Empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in der Nähe des Kiyomizu-dera. Sehr durchdachte Einrichtung. Nach Gion Zentrum 15 Minuten Fußweg. Steile Stufen ins 1. Geschoss ( Schlafzimmer und Tatami-Raum). Sehr schöner Miniaturgarten vor dem Badezimmer. Klimatisierung in jedem Raum. Die Wohnung macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben dort zwei schöne Wochen verbracht."

"Comfortable, well-located house in a quiet residential alley. The house was quite cold when I arrived, and it took some time to heat up. The place doesn’t get much sunlight. Cool to stay in a machiya. Stairs are narrow and more like a ladder, but easily navigable for younger and smaller bodies. For the price there are more comfortable and equally well situated places around. "

"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. "Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is great and near entrances to the train station. There are underground shopping/restaurants near the hotel which can connect to Osaka station. I was confused walking through it but followed signs for "JR" and eventually found my way to Osaka station. The indoor onsen (spa) is open from 6am-midnight which was great after a long day of walking. A Lawson convenience store and pharmacy is located on the ground floor of the hotel. One potential con is the hotel is positioned right on a main street which means you can probably hear car noises or general noise pollution from your room. "
