"We very much enjoyed the upstairs pool, i believe there is a fee for the pool & jacuzzi on lower ground. Restaurant was lovely, polite and helpful staff. Our AC wasnt working properly, even when the gentleman came and fixed it, it wasnt really cool, but not an issue as was quite cool for june. If i were to share some constructive criticism, it would be a lovely touch to have a mini fridge in the deluxe & superior rooms! "It's an interesting hotel but tired! Must be an ex naval personnel club or hotel I would guess due to the large collection of naval memorabilia. Nice and decorative inside in an old fashioned way. Convenient for the Historic Dockyard which is only about 10 minutes walk away and was the reason for our trip, and Gunwarf Quays. Good cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. Nice and clean and a comfortable bed. Enjoyable stay but wouldn't stay here again."
