The castle has a great gastro-pub just a 3-minute walk away in the village. Lovely cooked breakfast in the hotel, Ideal for a short stopover or to explore the area. "The building is on a busy street with limited parking. The rooms are clean and adequate, separate entrance from the pub but the lock on the outside door broken. Rooms are clean and have tea/coffee and biscuits. No bathroom toiletries but plenty towels. No wardrobe just a rack to hang coats on. I would love to have been able to give this hotel a higher rating as the beds were comfy but the NOISE at night... ear plugs were provided but I always bring my own which usually serve me well. All...
