"We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"This home was charming and perfect for our days in Alnwick. The location was outstanding. 2 minutes from the bus station and grocery store made life so easy. The lounge and kitchen were spacious and gave us lots of space to spread out. Our kids had a blast playing foosball. The beds were comfortable and there was enough wardrobe space. "This private and bijou rental is an absolute gem! In lovely rural setting, it is very cosy and enormous care has clearly been taken to think through every need a guest might have. Wherever you look there are thoughtful beautiful artistic touches. The host is friendly, informative and very responsive to any questions. The cottage is well situated to visit Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Within easy reach are shops and restaurants. The 'Taj Tandoori' provided the best Indian meal...

"The cabin is far from as described and overpriced for the condition and cleanliness. The state of repair is poor - furniture both outside and inside is dated and in places broken. Hot tub had a dirty foam on the top - must have been used with fake tan/make up previously. The only good thing is that the owner is responsive and has said replacements have been made since our stay."
