The location was ideal as we could get to Hexham and the Hadrian's Wall sites very easily with lovely country drives. Communication from the hosts was prompt, informative and friendly. "Overall nice lodge/park - nice touch with welcome pack and doggy treats. Few areas to consider for owner - one of the kids beds was very uncomfortable to the extent that our daughter slept on the sofa bed in lounge. The cleaning/host fees extortionate (£90 plus £45) for the size of the lodge. I am a property owner/renter myself and know how much a clean costs after a stay and it is no where near £90 (presuming cleaners on minimum wage or thereabouts means it takes 8 hours to clean and prep the...

"A fantastic break in a gorgeous lodge, great base to explore the beautiful coastline of Northumberland, there are numerous stunning beaches a short drive away. The lodge is fully equipped with everything you need, very spacious (there were only 2 of us and our dog). The hot tub is great set in a lovely outdoor space, the sunshine helped.
