"Quiet, peaceful location relaxing. Pub restaurant busy obviously a popular place to eat and with good reason the food was really good, which was the case with breakfast!. Enjoyed our 2 night stay, the staff really made us think about staying again and wish we didn't have to travel so far enabling us to do this more. Great area, hope to get back."

"I was taken to the room, which was somewhat cramped with ever-so-slightly grubby duvets and extremely thin pillows. All acceptable problems I was prepared to deal with (as was the remote for the oddly-placed tele being dead, but that's me being picky) and I was even able to accept the fact that the shower had two settings - literally scalding (the red of my hand taking hours to go down) or too cold to use. "We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"
