"This accommodation has the potential to be unique and charming. However the property was not clean. One of my priorities. At first glance it passed cleanliness but it had an underlying grime. The utensils in the kitchen had been put away dirty. The floors in the bathrooms had grey grout that should have been white. It just looked shabby. "Host cancelled on Friday evening- we were booked from the Sunday. VRBO helpfully suggested alternative and said our money would be refunded for this booking. So far they have not honoured this, claiming the host is responsible. The host is unresponsive, twice given excuses to VRBO- just up, couldn’t access their computer but would resolve this within 24hrs (lied). 2nd attempt- told that the property managers were going into a meeting but would get back within a couple of hours… VRBO guarantee...
