Beautiful beach, but the lake was not really visible from the home. Great location, easy to get to and accessible to bars, restaurants, and shopping. The bedrooms were spacious however, the mattresses could use a refresh. Comfortable, clean accommodations, well stocked property. Two bathrooms was a real treat. We enjoyed the patio area as well.

Very Clean. Newly renovated. Close to trail, public beach, playground and town. Beds are comfortable. The beach is private and sandy. Shallow water for kids to play. Dock available for boat. We had a wonderful week with family. We will return.

Convenient, clean, comfortable. We were there for our grandsons’ hockey game so it was winter weather. While it was fun to see snowmobiles on the lake, this would be a great summer vacation spot. We also felt very safe. Host was great at communicating!

Great memories were made on our week long trip to Shell Lake. Had a great week relaxing and fishing. We like that the property is located close to town, allowing us to walk to the restaurant. The home has a well stocked kitchen area. The owner was very responsive in our communications.The owner said the lake level is down considerably this year. Unfortunately, we were unable to dock our 20 ft pontoon at the pier as it was too shallow. Guests may want to inquire about this if bringing your own boat.

The house smelled very musty, we opened windows to air it out upon arrival.The master suite tub was too high for Mom to step into. She used the shower in the other bathroom.Otherwise, all went well, thank you.
