David is a saint! It was like staying with family if family isn't overbearing or meddlesome. And it's a super comfy bed. The location is about 10-15 minute walk into town center or the entrance to the Chalice Well or footpath up the Tor. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Liz and Grame were absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful and the tow was a great visit.

After a long overnight flight from the US, we were delighted to be greeted by the friendly staff upon our arrival. Having a parking spot was key, and staff members kindly parked our car on arrival in the small garage and removed it when we departed as we were still getting used to the narrow lanes and left-side of the road driving. The Swan Inn is a beautiful pub in a quiet country area with easy access to Cheddar. We loved the property and enjoyed our stay very much. We ate dinner one night and breakfast one morning and both meals were delicious. I’d highly recommend The Swan Inn if you’re looking for a quiet country stay in a lovely old pub.

We love historic places to stay at. The George fit that perfectly. The room was full of charm and character. Modern it is not, but we knew this going in and we expected what they delivered. The restaurant serves delicious food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again given the chance. Thank you, The George Inn, we had a wonderful w experience.

Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost

We spent two very comfortable nights with a modern room and bath, nice breakfasts, and one nice dinner. The inn is in a tiny village with a picturesque ruined castle and church nearby, close to Stourhead and Longleat.

The inn was beautiful. The location is perfect. It is right outside Bath, next to the horse racecourse. The room was nearly brand new which was both good and bad. The good was it was spotless and well maintained. The bad was the radiator wasn’t working the first night so my son was shivering all night. I absolutely loved this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. This is the place to go if you want to feel pampered and taken care of. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The food is delicious and beats many of the cafes in the neighborhood. Their location is great- they are walking distance from everything, but still located in a quiet street where you can avoid too many tourists.
