"We loved being able to bring our dog with us on our long weekend mountain trip. This is an older, but cozy, comfortable and unique cabin high up on a Wintergreen mountaintop, with great views of the sunset from the big bay window and especially from the wonderful hot tub. We also enjoyed making fires in the huge stone fireplace at night. Great location next to the national park, and a block and a half from the old Appalachian Trail trailhead, which leads to the AT and the Blue Ridge Parkway. A short drive down the mountain takes you to Nellysford, which has a good selection of restaurants, breweries and hiking activities. Beautiful Crabtree Falls is also nearby for a day hike. The master bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms/showers have undergone nice modern updates. Would stay there again!"

"The only problem we encountered was that the jacuzzi wasnot working. The kitchen had everyhting you would need for a week long stay. The views were incredible and there was even still some snow on some of the western facing slopes. Definetely would come back."

"This home was just as promised! Comfortable, clean, and fashionable furniture and decor. Kitchen was well stocked, and the bonus fridge in the basement was a plus! Gorgeous sunset views, either on the patio or from the living room couch. Plenty of room for our multigenerational family stay. Super close to breweries, cideries, and wineries, in addition to antique stores in the cutest little towns! Highly recommend!"
