Very nice place for solo travelers. You get your own room but it’s a very communal atmosphere. Met a lot of cool people and the manager was super nice!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere the hostel had and the friendliness of all the staff that were there. It was a very clean and neat place to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone staying there in the future.

This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!

Peaceful bliss! Right up in the forest-laden mountains of Hakone, this traditionally modern ryokan should tick every mark you need for relaxation: simple, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed our stay here, there was plenty of room to spread out, the beds were comfy and our host was very nice and welcoming. We didn't realize that it was geared at people with dogs and some were barking a bit & running around the courtyard but it was overall pretty quiet and also only a few blocks from the beach which was nice to walk on in the morning.

The manager was very helpful and guided us to the amenities and features of the property.
