"A wonderful place to relax and take in the magnificent views of the beautiful Ligurian countryside. Perfectly situated high above the bustling coastal town of Levanto and the edge of the Cinque Terre, it's a great base to explore and sample the charms of the region. The food was excellent and our hosts most gracious."

"Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Could not be more convenient to the train and the waterfront. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Occasionally it could be noisy, as it’s on the hiking path, but it quiets down in the evening. It’s very small and there’s nowhere to hang wet coats/clothes after a rainy day, but hopefully most people enjoy it in good weather! "

"This was our favorite place to stay in a 23 day trip to Europe visiting many locations.
The view is worth a million dollars!
It may be tricky to find, but the reviews were helpful. We arranged a taxi to pick us up near the train station (25 €) and also at pick up time.
We walked to the town through the path from the location. We are not hikers but yet we did a pretty good job and enjoyed the views and nature all the way down. To come up, we took a bus (towards Sn. Bernardino ) and then walked for about 15 minutes to our location. The staff was nice and prepared a really nice breakfast for us both days. We really enjoyed our stay there. "
"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. While there’s no Wi-Fi or AC in the rooms in the main building, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. There were large windows we opened to let in the breeze. We stayed with our college age kids who loved the location."

"Our stay here could not have been more enjoyable. Renato and Laura were discrete and excellent hosts and Maimonrose was spacious and cool inside. The local village has an excellent supermarket, and the Cinque Terre coast, Lucca and Torre del Lago were all within easy reach. I hope to stay there again in the future."

"Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Der Checkin war unkompliziert, da wir vorab schon Kontakt aufgenommen haben und sie auf uns an der Tür gewartet hat. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Es war sehr ruhig.
Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist ca 5 km entfernt. Zum Strand nach Levanto braucht man ca 45 Minuten. Alles sehr nette Menschen.
Leider war das W-lan etwas überlastet und wir hatten nicht immer einen Zugang (zu wenig Hotspot Plätze).
Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung.
Das große Bett war sehr bequem, die Kinderbetten auf der Gallery waren etwas hart. Die Kinder haben dann auf dem Sofa geschlafen, welches auch sehr bequem war.
Außerdem war es auf der Gallery im Sommer (35 Grad draußen) auch nachts sehr warm.
Es gab einige Spiele für Kinder von 1-12 Jahren und man konnte sich auch bei schlechtem Wetter gut drinnen beschäftigen."
