"Beautiful view of Silva Bay. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious -- particularly enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, homemade granola and blueberry muffins, along with the yogurts and other breakfast items. When a power failure knocked out power to half the island, Dave and Melanie set up lights, fired up their generator in the morning, and kept us informed throughout the outage. We would definitely stay here again! "

"We used The Hobbit as our base for a three night trip for Gabriola. Clean, comfortable and well hosted by an available but privacy-respecting couple (Nancy and Gregory), we really enjoyed out stay. Breakfasts were a nice touch and were well tailored to our considerable dietary needs. Would absolutely stay again."
