"Very friendly, clean and cosy. All the staff were welcoming and the property was a lovely local pub with friendly locals. We only stayed 1 night on this occasion but we will definitely use this hotel again. Very reasonable rates that included breakfast and parking in a beautiful location. "Unclear and inconvenient parking, causing an incident with an angry & aggressive neighbour. Dirty/stained bed linen. Not enough towels & consumables. Inappropriate shower and toilet facilities. Very, very difficult access to bedrooms. Dirty carpets in bedrooms and terrible mattresses. Rubbish at the entrance to the property. The guest book contains extremely harsh comments about the owners and their lack of communication. We booked for two days but left early in the morning after the first day : ("

"Perfect place for somewhere that is off the beaten track but still not far from anything you would want. Lovely two storey cottage with character and loads of information on places to go and things to do. Tons of varied DVDs available. Toilet downstairs and shower room with toilet upstairs. Wifi available but limited range can be problematic for some applications (e.g. streaming). Fab, clean hot tub. Friendly, helpful family run the farm and 2 cottages. "
