"Staff were welcoming and the biscuits in the jar was a little gesture to the hungry soul. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and served with the customer in mind "
"Dog-friendly whether as a solo traveller with dog, or larger group. Staff at reception and others I saw very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, very friendly. Garden (not enclosed) at rear of hotel, with bin for those with dogs, or over the road at front of hotel, both had seating. If you have mobility issues, steps at front and rear of hotel, handrails present, and a lift inside hotel.
Hotel room had twin beds, was clean and had soap and towels, hair dryer, TV, tea and coffee...
"Liked common areas to eat and socialise which were spacious. Did not like the closure of the dedicated nearby parking when no building was taking place. The reception staff were responsive and helpful when there were any issues. Some noise from other guests around 1pm. Excellent views and free facilities eg sports. A really enjoyable stay for 50th anniversary alumni - thank you all."
"Lovey hotel. We went for an afternoon tea gift. Which was amazing. Everything baked in house. We made a weekend of it with an overnight stay. Staff very very friendly and nothing too Much trouble. Location is wonderful with a couple of good walks.
Rooms very clean and homely. Food very very good. You really do feel spoilt. "
"Lovely brand new hotel.
Comfortable bed, well thought through room with full length mirror, plenty of storage and the mirror in the bathroom doesn’t fog when you’ve had a shower. Little things like that make a big difference. I really like the eco friendly focus and it was totally fine to walk to the water, tea and coffee station on the floor. Staff were more than helpful, and the hotel was beautifully clean.
Water pressure could be better."
