"Very clean room, and the staff were very nice. Simple breakfast. Lots of parking. Was quiet and safe. AC worked great on a hot night. Only negative is the room was dated. (Not really bad, just the only thing)"

"We rolled into Mt. Shasta at the tail end of a long driving day, and Summit View Inn turned out to be exactly the kind of place you hope for on a road trip. Not polished, not trying to be — just genuinely welcoming. The room was bigger than expected and clean, and the little courtyard with the tables and fire pit ended up being our favorite part of the whole stay. We sat out there in the evening with the mountain right there in front of us and didn't feel any urge to be anywhere else. It's a small, independently run spot, and that comes through in the best way. Easy check-in, quiet night, quick walk or short drive to town for food. For the price, it's an easy recommendation to anyone passing through on their way up or down I-5. Thank you for a restful stop. We'd stay again."

"The front desk staff were very accommodating. I booked the King Suite. I could appreciate the layout of the room. The bed was the only furniture and the no carpeted …way .more sanitary. The rest of the furnature was ok. The room was missing basic items: Place to put luggage like a suitcase stand; kleenex wslll holder with no Kleenex; very limited space in bathroom to set/or hand personal items (used towels, hand towel hook/ring needed, ADA shower needed a hand held shower type head …water doesn’t reach if one sits down, ADA seat brackets loose from the wall, bottom of tub very slippery…suggested anti strips installed, sink faucet cold side leaks at top. If both are turned on together facet handle ms don’t leak. The mounted wall lamp on one side doesn’t work…I changed light bulb from the other lamp that was working. Thank you for making accommodations for a breakfast while the breakfast area was under construction. The back exterior door is broke and doesn’t lock, therefore anyone off the street can walk into the building . I didn’t sleep to well as a solo traveling female that had the suite next to the back exit. I didn’t use the pool as I didn’t trust the water pH ….maintenance job to check nightly. :/ Be flexible!"
