"We had a lovely stay at The Water Edge. The owner is incredibly kind and responsive, and the property itself is absolutely gorgeous — cozy, clean, and set in a beautiful location that really lives up to the name.One important thing to note for anyone visiting in the winter: the road leading into the cottage is not ploughed. Between our three vehicles, we got stuck four separate times, and I had to call CAA twice to get us out. It was a stressful experience that definitely impacted our trip.I would strongly recommend having an all-wheel-drive vehicle during winter conditions. This wasn’t mentioned on the website, and it would be very helpful for future guests to know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly.Overall, a beautiful place with a wonderful owner — just be prepared if you’re visiting in the winter."

"Spotless room, recent reno, comfy bed, sparkling clean bathroom. Smart room layout with a big TV right in front of couch so can actually watch TV without an angle view. Good water pressure and instant Hot water."

"Clean, spacious, private, great view and well located for our visit to Arrowhead Provincial Park skating trail and dinner at 3 guys and a stove (6 minutes away). Much nicer than staying in town or at one of the big resorts. "

"We really enjoyed our time at Tally-Ho. Echo is a lovely cabin with a wonderful fireplace and nicely situated with a view of the lake. Everything was clean and the place had a cozy feel to it! The beds were comfortable. This is a great place to stay near the winter wonderland of Algonquin! "
