"We stayed in a 1 bedroom 2 bath condo for the month of May, 2026. This was a corner unit with a wrap around lanai and exceptional views of the mountains (sunrise) and the ocean (sunset). We also had a view of the pool and grounds including the koi pond. So lovely to sit on the lanai and enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Our unit was very well equipped with kitchen supplies and had a washer and dryer. The king bed was comfortable, with plenty of storage and...

"The carpet had several places that were unraveling. It also appeared dirty and very used. The lanai was very small. We have stayed here in the past and this lanai seemed about half the size of the others we have had. Self parking was very convenient. Love the resorts location!"

"My suggestion to future guests would be to talk to staff before booking a room on exactly the type of room you will be given. The pictures on the website can be misleading as they show various types of rooms(ie ground level with patio verses 5th story room with no balcony)for the same category of room. Totally different experiences!"

"Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

"Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation."
