This was a very unique looking property. It looked like something you'd see in the movie Cassablanca. The property was clean and conveniently located to transportation, shops and restaurants. The young man who managed the property was very helpful and a wonderful person. Breakfast was passable, but there are many good options within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.

Close to the Main Street of Sliema, this hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Located uphill and in a residential neighborhood, it’s quiet at night. There is a locals’ bar near the hotel where I got most of my food recommendations from. The bar is cash only. Check in, go to the bar, and listen to the locals. They’ll tell you a secret spot or two about Malta. None of this would be possible without this hotel.

This is charming old guest-house - bird-song and church-bell sounds in the little courtyard. The breakfast was yummy, served in a lovely setting on the roof, and the man at reception was very helpful. The location is very convenient for the beach area of Sliema.

Excellent location. Steps from the ocean. 15 mins walk to Silema ferry. Tons of restaurants around and about 20 mins walk to St Julian the main entertainment area. The room was well decorated and maintained. The house is old and has tons of characters

We really enjoyed our stay at this characterful property. The staff, location, breakfast are amazing. The building is old so some limitations (e.g. poor ventilation) are understandable. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The room (19) was spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed. The daily breakfast on the sunny rooftop was amazing. Thoroughly recommend this guest house.

A beautiful little hotel, very comfortable. A little unsettling that if you don’t arrive in the middle of the day, there is no one there to greet you and everything is done technologically. They give you a combination to open the door, another to get your key from a little box. Efficient but impersonal and a little scary when you arrive late at night. You don’t see anyone until the following morning. Decent breakfast. Good location. Good value for money. I would stay there again.

The Maltese Sun is a fabulous B&B in the heart of Sliema. Within easy reach of some excellent restaurants and close to public transport. The B&B is spotlessly clean throughout. The buffet breakfast is fabulous. Jessica, in reception, and the rest of the team are amazing. Thank you.

Great location, short walk to waterfront and maybe 10 mins to all the restaurants but in a quiet neighbourhood. Great reception, room was spotless, comfie bed and pillows! The rate included breakfast which was really nice and fresh - staff at breakfast were lovely! Served on rooftop terrace which we really enjoyed. Staff super responsive to any queries. Highly recommend!!!

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is located on the quieter streets behind the main road down at the waterfront which made it feel very peaceful. The room was clean and generous, a little bit of a damp smell in the wardrobe. But all in all it was great value and exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the breakfast.
