"Great location, friendly staff, great value. The room was clean, there was a bit of shotty craftsmanship around the room. On the upside some of the things look to have been recently updated, like the floor and vanity. The towels were either brand new or exceptionally clean. I would stay there again. Thank you"

"Staff was super friendly. Rooms are older, but they are very clean. Bed was comfortable. Stayed 2 nights with 2 rooms. Will definitely stay again. Close to downtown Grass valley and 5 minutes to Nevada city. "

"We were greeted by an individual whose first words to us were you didn't pay enough but that is ok because your TV does not work. Then I was told that my amount owed was $30 less than what I already paid. When we went up to the room it was old, dirty not well kept, nor was it safe. The shower current was what appeared to be a Dollar Tree Liner (looked like a garbage bag) there were old tattered towels. "This charming house was perfect for our stay with our favorite restaurants just a block away. It’s quiet and quaint and being by the river is an added bonus. The bed is extremely comfortable! Not too fancy, but just right!"

"Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best. We love the lighting in the yard and fairy light projection touch!"

"The property was beautiful. Everything yoiu would need was provided. It was off the beaten path so very quiet and woodsy. Our group of 9 were high school buddies (50 years ago) having our yearly golf trip. Several golf courses within 15 min and after a round of golf in the warm weather, the pool was a life safer. Everyone staying there said the accomodations were beyond their expectations."
