We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from wine pairings to plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. "This was our favorite place to stay during our 3 week tour of Florence, Tuscany, and Umbria! Bertina was so helpful with suggestions of towns for us to visit (we had a car) The room was clean, spacious and elegantly decorated. It’s a perfect place to stay to take day trips to various Tuscan towns. Breakfast was great and they have a full bar. We will be back!!!!"
