The hotel has the traditional value of a great hotel. Staff are properly attired. Furniture is solid wood. Brass handles in the washroom are all well polished shiny."

"I am in Sofia to start a tour of the Balkans. The tour agency uses this hotel and olí chose it for the first night I was in town to be at the same hotel. The hotel and area around it is quiet. Walkable to the city center. Breakfast is good in the mornings. "

"Stayed for a week, solo travel, some excellent staff at reception, some not so good, that could have been because i don’t speak Bulgarian, room is adequate for single travellers, warm and WiFi good, only negative was room or bins weren’t cleaned or emptied for the whole week. It’s about 20 min walk to main attractions but there are trams every 10 min at top of road, you can just use your debit card to travel, tbh the public transport is excellent in Bulgaria, used the Metro to and from Airport...

"Not clean. Couldn't open the bed room window, very hot because there were no way to turn the radiators off. Dry blood in the sauna. Bathroom floor very unclean!! "
