"Overall great hotel to stay"

"Lovely traditional house in an old part of suburban Tokyo, but with the convenience of excellent transport links. "

"The room and facilities were clean and well maintained. I slept great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, easy walk to Nippori station and fun shopping. I would definitely stay here again."

"Room was very small, but well maintained. Facilities (showers, toilets etc) very clean and in good condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to bus/ trains."

"Convenient to go anywhere"

"Perfect location and staff"

"Great place to stay and good location "

"Amazing stay at this property! The property was clean, simple, and very convenient as it was merely a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and there were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The genuine hospitality and friendliness of the owner himself truly made this experience personable and one of kind. We definitely will recommend this...

"Staff are so nice "

"Everyone was so nice there, bathrooms and rooms were very clean. The only thing is that our bed wasn’t the comfiest. "

"Spectacular location, helpful staff, & well maintained. The shower situation is just a bit too foreign & convoluted for me. I tried it, but I’ll have to stick to my mores. The sauna was a plus though. Overall, if you’re up to try out the Japanese bathhouse onsen experience, then book this location 100%."

"staff was super friendly"

"the place was horrible. there is no staff to speak of. the location is horrible. If the place burnt to the ground it would be doing Tokyo a favor"

"Best hostel that I have stayed at"

"Very clean establishment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shower is clean with shampoo and shower gel provided. Modern Japanese toilets. Hard beds are on the smaller side. Two streets from a metro station and one street from a convenience store. Walking distance from Shinjuku. Definitely worth the price."

"Great owner, great neighbor, great people. "

"Loved my stay here !! People at the front are super friendly and attentive. 100% recommend!"

"Staff was friendly, room was clean, showers were clean and bright. It was nice to speak to other travellers, bathroom amenities were provided"

"Great little hotel in the west side of Tokyo. As others have mentioned, the mattresses are quite firm but honestly it’s probably good for your back. Nice little café on the second floor and the neighbourhood has some great coffee shops and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Only downside is the nearest Konbinis are between 5-10 walk, and the nearest subway entrances are around 10minutes away. Otherwise beautiful views, cozy room and cool part of the city! Staff was very helpful and attentive....
