Cabin Rentals in Somervell County

"Building is falling apart, keys don’t work, property is in serious need of repairs!!! Room was filthy, staff did nothing to help. Would never recommend this hotel. "

"The property at The Inn On The River was very nice, clean, and well maintained. The bathroom was especially impressive with excellent water pressure, and overall the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, although at times a bit peculiar in their interactions. The biggest disappointment was that the room I booked felt very misrepresented. There was no TV at all in the room, which was not what I expected. In addition, the room was extremely close to the main street, and the traffic noise made it feel almost like sleeping outside on the sidewalk. The window treatments also lacked blackout shades, so there was no real way to darken the room for sleeping. Overall, the property has a lot of charm and potential, but due to the room issues and noise level, I ended up checking out early."

"Totally misrepresented themselves in there description. No pool. No breakfast. Ice machines were out of order along with the vending machines. Place was filthy and stunk. Nothing like supposed clean towels that should have been white being brown and stained. Tub felt like you were going to fall through. When you have to buy pillowcases because the pillows are brown and stained you know it’s bad. I knew I wasn’t staying at a Ritz Carlton but definitely expected better than Motel 6. Only brought spot was the friendly staff"

"Breakfast was similar to most free hotel breakfasts. Bathroom had pee stains on floor at toilet and an area (approximately 3” x 3” of mold on the ceiling. Appears to be from room above. Not over tub/shower. "

"We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, comfortable beds, typical continental breakfast but it was good. Friendly staff. We will stay here again when in town. "

"I felt it was very overpriced for what we got. The rooms were nice, my bathroom did not have a vanity just a single sink no cabinet. It had just a small table next to the sink kind of hard to get ready with no area to put your things. No full length mirror anywhere in the room. The breakfast was terrible. Only bagels and limited cereal, I've had more options staying at a regular hotel/motel. On the weekends they do serve "full breakfast" but you have to pay for it. The event that I attended I felt was very rushed, the staff was forcefully friendly if that makes sense. One bar tender wasn't very knowledgeable on making drinks and the other bar tender had a rude demeanor. Overall I very much regret booking here and should of stayed with my original booking 7 minutes away at half the price."
