"Den første receptionist vi mødte var tydeligvis træt af sit arbejde. Hun var ikke skygge af imødekommende og virkede mere irriteret over at jeg talte til hende, tilgengæld var receptionisten næste morgen lige modsat. Meget imødekommende og sød. En ung pige med langt lyst hår. Ros til hende. Der manglede siddepladser inde i restauranten ved morgenmaden, så vi sad næsten i receptionen og spiste, det var lidt ærgeligt. Og så var hpndsæben helt tom da vi kom - dog kom der hurtigt en ny da vi gjorde opmærksom på det. Virkelig smukke omgivelser og dejligt sted ellers. Vi vil gerne komme igen ☺️"

"This hostel was pretty good because it was close to the metro and bus station, just 15 minutes from the town center. The room was decent, clean, and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was alright; there was enough to eat to keep you full for half the day. My wife, 2 kids, and I had a really early flight. We got to the hotel expecting a quick check-in, but nope, it wasn't. The worst part was the check-in process and the staff. They were there but didn't help or tell us how to check in, or where to find our room. I was so mad and stressed, and the receptionists just kept saying, "Don't worry, don't be stressed," and they were even laughing when we were trying to find our room since no one gave us any directions. Plus, I was supposed to get check-in instructions 24 hours before we arrived, but that never happened."

"Easy parking and checkin. Great accommodation overall perfect for a family of 4 in the 2 bedroom apartment. Only downside was regular very noisy deliveries in the car park next door around 3.30am, not sure why this is allowed, as otherwise a quite peaceful place to stay."

Gentofte Hotel

"Cozy hotel in the middle of the Gentofte district. Nice rooms. Small but practical bathroom with underfloor heating. Good breakfast. Bus stop outside the hotel. 10 minutes walk to the train station. Good parking. Nice hotel, we will be happy to come back."

"The room check-in was great, and the area is pretty quiet overall. However, there was a musky smell in the room, maybe because it's on the ground floor. It was humid and hard to clear the air, even with the window open."

"This is a "capsule hotel" meaning you get a text message or email with a door code the morning of your stay and then you can get into your room. This is fine but you need to have some kind of connectivity to read those messages. I found the place quiet and pleasant; somewhere in-between a hotel and a hostel, with people in the morning willing to talk and hang out. However, the only way to contact the staff is by cellphone; there is no staff on-site. So when there are screaming toddlers running up and down the halls or there is a problem with something there is no way to contact people because they aren't there. The price is excellent, though, it is a fifteen-minute walk from the train station (and a walk through a lovely small town that is worth the visit for itself) and the rooms are comfortable. Bikerod itself is worth a visit. I would definitely stay here again. The bar next door is an old Danish "brown pub" which is populated with serious drinkers... old guys who show up at 9am for their first beer and leave late in the evening. There are a bunch of reviews on the internet from people saying they were treated poorly there, but I liked the place myself. Just go in and be respectful and don't act like a goddamn tourists, just be quiet and drink a beer. The beer is good, but there is no food."
