"Antiche Mura was fabulous in every way! It is located a block off the main square with shopping galore steps away from the hotel yet quiet enough given its somewhat hidden location. Staff were incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room since we arrived early with no rooms available. The pool and garden are picturesque- you can spend your day secluded from the city and enjoy the pool and garden amenities. The hotel room exemplified Sorrento with coastal blue colors and spacious for a European hotel. The buffet breakfast was top notch Ultimately the best part of the hotel is location, location, location! We would definitely return to stay here again in Sorrento!"

"Wonderful place very close to everything. Restaurant across from the hotel was amazing. We went three times. Staff were extremely helpful with reservations and dining suggestions. Although the pool was small, it was so nice to have, especially since we visited in summer. Sometimes it was difficult to find a lounge chair as people tend to save chairs. The roof top deck has a beautiful view and it was nice way to end the evening. Breakfast was good, but it would have been nice to have some more vegan options - including milk alternatives. We had a rental car and parking in the underground lot was easy, but the charge was 30 euros per night. We ended up driving ourselves to Positano and the Amalfi Coast and it was magical. We also bought tickets to the ferry from Sorrento to Capri and it was easy to walk to from the hotel. "

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Sorrento, with a few bumps along the way that were handled with true hospitality. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from both the train station and bus stop, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The building itself is quite old, but it looks like it has been recently remodeled, giving it a charming mix of character and comfort. We had booked the hotel five months in advance as part of our 8-city trip across Italy and honestly forgot that breakfast was included at this particular stop. Unfortunately, the young staff at the front desk didn’t mention it at check-in, and we only found out by accident a couple of days later. Naturally, we were quite upset, feeling like we had missed out. However, Teresa, the hotel manager, immediately stepped in and turned the situation around. She was gracious, understanding, and incredibly accommodating—she even went so far as to invite us to the hotel owner’s private birthday party to make it up to us. That kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. Thanks to Teresa and her outstanding customer care, we ended our stay on a high note. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento.
