"Our stay at Hotel Gran Aminta was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-tier. The housekeeping staff kept our room spotless and went above and beyond every day. A special shoutout to the porter who helped with our bags—he was incredibly friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious—we looked forward to every meal. The bar service was excellent, and the bartender made sure we always had what we needed. Reception was just as impressive—warm, welcoming, and always helpful. The entire staff truly made our experience unforgettable. This hotel gets a 10 out of 10 from us. "We originally booked here because it was close to the hospital, where our daughter was being treated. Just one minute away! At the base of a beautiful scenic 400m hillside, the Hotel Villa Maria has exceeded our expectations! Our room was clean and comfortable and comes with a private balcony! The hotel staff is very accommodating and the restaurant manager Luigi makes everyone feel special upon arrival! The pool is very nice and full of sunshine, and the pool bar is very reasonable. The drinks are delicious! Wonderful pool staff! Don’t forget on Thursday night that you have a pool party with a DJ, which is quite entertaining! 😂 The front desk staff has been very helpful as we have needed a number of things printed and prepared for the hospital, and they have been very accommodating, and full of smiles! They speak very good English, not needed but use Google translate to help sometimes. 😊 We’ve had to extend our trip a couple of times and they have been been helpful. The hotel is close to the main street of Sorrento. Just a short walk to everything it has to offer. I think you pay a little less because you are off the main strip, and it is probably quieter too. Don’t forget to go up to the sixth floor and take some pictures! You see all of Sorrento, Naples, Mount Vesuvius and all the other cities nearby. Just beautiful! "Wonderful suite with huge balcony (lovely view, including some sea and Vesuvius) and two ample bathrooms, one with plunge bath, one with large walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast and dining both in the restaurant and in the rooftop bar. Moderately busy area with nearby trains and buses with short walk to town centre with shopping and dining a-plenty, but Sorrento is not blessed with easily-accessible, good public beaches (but don't miss the cheap lift down to the harbours). The Grande Marina should not be missed. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful and the only problem we had were related to the power dropping out occasionaly."
