The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, and they even repaired the handle on my suitcase for me! What a relief! The breakfast was phenomenal, and the service was outstanding. The front desk staff is welcoming, accommodating, and professional! They made our stay even more enjoyable! "

Food in hotel was good especially the breakfasts omelettes in particular. spotlessly clean, comfortable large bed, beautiful linens and great toiletries. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic views over the bay as you are high.up and there is a 15 mins walk downhill into town centre"

"Hotel & Service is Excellent, however, i har to walk hundreds of stairs from the Port to the Hotel Pickup point due to the fact that their Shuttle is not allowed in the Port because the City protect the Taxi Business at the expense of convenience, especially older people like me, this IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE, SHAME ONYO SORRENTO!!"

"Everything was perfect since we arrived. The staff were so kind going above and beyond at every step, the room had a beautiful view—it’s a bit far from the city but apparently they have a shuttle you can ask for in advance. We stayed in a room with partial seaside view but instead we got a full view! It was as pictured, with a terrace and view to ourselves. Even if you don’t get a room with a view, they have outdoor seating with the most amazing view, and there’s beautiful live music in the evenings from 8-8:30pm. They also have their private seaside/beach area and pool open to guests—many other beaches in the area are not free, while the hotels is both private and free for guests. When we went it was nearly empty, very private, and breathtaking beauty."

"Loved Grand Hotel de La Ville. Such beautiful rooms with inlaid wood, marble bathrooms, lovely painted tile floors. Breakfast and staff excellent. We had an end-view partial sea view, which I would skip in the future. Mostly a view of a neighboring apartment building, but everything else is fantastic. 5 minute walk to train station, 10 minute walk to shopping downtown."
