"This place has character. It is an older property where the staff bends over backwards to accommodate guests. The room was full of fresh flowers and beautifully folded towels when we arrived, making us feel extra welcome. The view from the room is wonderful, there is a small bar and restaurant just downstairs, with steps to the beach. Easy walking distance to town. We are glad we stayed here. "

"Ladera was the resort my GF and went to celebrate my 60th bday. Yes its the BIG one for me. Always wanted to go to SL and finally this was the time. Wanted to stay at Jade mountain because of the room with the view etc but there was no availability so i choose LaDera. Nestled between the 2 piton mountains i dont regret it at all infact imo ets better than JM cause Ladera is right smack in the middle of the mountains. JM was far away from the pitons. And u want to be as close to these majestic mountains as possible. Ladera imo is one of the nicest resorts ive been to and ive been to many many 5 star resorts. What makes any resort great or bad is the staff and imo laderas staff is top notch. 2nd to none. The friendliness of each one of them was amazing. Even people who were working on some renovations who werent even staff were polite. St lucia has some very sketchy neighborhoods and people. I dont know since i didnt really interact with the natives but a lot of them looked kinda scary. Sorry im not inferring any stereotypes but at times i didnt feel safe leaving out rental car when away from the resort. Anyway the views from our room with its own wade pool. The canopied bed. Stocked frig. Shower with its wonderful water pressure. Fully gym. Game room with TV and AC. Hot tubs etc etc. Anyway go to this wonderful place. Caroline the concirerge. Our butlers Cole. Theo. "Caldera Villas is located in Soufrière which overlooks the village with stunning views of the Pitons. Inside this newly built modern Villa I was pleased with the cleanliness, stunning decor and furnishings. The kitchenette was fully equipped with all the essentials we needed. Caldera Villas was nestled in the perfect spot and conveniently located within a small driving distance to many attractions. This property is quiet and well maintained with easy check in/check out, cleaning staff and the host readily available. We really enjoyed staying here and would rebook this property in a heartbeat. "

"Excellent clean rental with a very comfy bed, which is very important in my book! Excellent communication with owner, Damian was great also. Road into the rental is no joke, but after the first trip up and down you get used to it. If you have a long travel day and are a first timer, I do recommend getting a ride from the airport. Wish we had done that. Overall great stay!!"
