"This is a beautiful property in the countryside. The staff are excellent, the food was excellent and the location is beautiful. The lodge is so cozy and we spent hours sitting by the fire. This is truly an amazing place. Getting there: the road from Machachi begins with several kilometers of very rough cobblestone, then there is a paved section for a few kilometers, and then a dirt road for the remainder to your destination. "The food was good with generous portions. Five meals were served--breakfast, morning snack, lunch, tea with goodies, and dinner. Wine flowed generously as did lemonade and water. The entertainment by the gauchos was very nice--singing, guitar, accordion and drum. They also showed the dress of the gaucho and the coverings of their horse in addition to a tournament of games they play on the horse.
