"The condo is fabulous. The owners renovation was superb. The guest bathroom tile could use a bit of touch up to avoid leaks at the tub and mildew. A major issue: the hot water heater is set at a scalding hot temperature. I would strongly advise setting it to a lower temperature."

"Overall had a nice stay at this apartment. Here are a few inaccuracies, though, that made a difference for my family: the listing says first floor but this is on the 3rd floor, there was no coffee maker, and there was no twin futon (only two loveseat couches). Also, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests for 3 nights. Otherwise the apartment was clean and spacious and had most other amenities you would need! Neighborhood was great and there was lots of parking available."

"John's VRBO was clean, comfortable and extremely convenient for catching the bus into Port Authority each day. It is probably less than a quarter mile walk up to the bus stop. The bus comes frequently and is very easy to use once you know you are looking for #51, which is not a city bus but apparently a private company. Once you are on the bus it's about a 15 minute ride to P.A. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was well equipped and having an extra half bath was handy. The kitchen is spacious...

"My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. This is such a cute and cozy place! Just like the pictures. In a beautiful neighborhood that is close to everything. We always felt safe, even walking around at night. So many restaurants within walking distance and very easy access to NYC. AJ was definitely awesome to work with. "Offering a fantastic view of the New York skyline from New Jersey, the easy bus links allowed us to see the city, augmented with the occasional Lyft and Uber. The communication with the host was great, and he was very flexible with arrangements. The stairs only access to the property was not ideal but really not a great problem, seeing how New York involves a lot of walking anyway. "Cute apartment in the journal square area. Close to path about a 5 min walk. Took the path to get into Hoboken and downtown jersey city. Parking definitely a challenge-we parked our car in the Journal square parking garage $60 for 2 nights. That was about a 5 min walk as well. The apartment is a great little place. "The property was very clean and well maintained. It met all our expectations. Was great for our family (two adults, two teens). The neighbourhood looks a little gritty initially but a little exploration reveals its quite safe and a very strong Latino presence. Lots of interesting restaurants, particularly on Bergline Avenue. Groceries, banks, drug stores etc all there as well. Spectacular views of Manhatten if you go around the corner and down 60th or 61st streets towards the Hudson River....
