"Absolutely loved my stay. The rooms were clean and perfect for our stay, the shower was actually so hot compared to most and it never cooled down or lost pressure, amazing. The staff were excellent, so friendly and sweet and gave me so much information about town and the beach itself. The view was excellent for being a partial, you are so close! The cafe was amazing, we had belgian waffles which were a 10/10, sausage egg and cheese muffins which were alsl 10/10 and the home fries were both cripsy and the right amount of soft. I will definitely be staying again in the future! "

"Currently doing renovations so main lobby closed and used small entrance. Booked room with balcony but unfortunately it rained during the day before we got there and the chair pillows were left out to get soaked. Finally dried out by morning but made the balcony less appealing. Nice room, big bed and great TV. No parking (and valet parking is $45/night which seems excessive). No room service but plenty of great restaurants 4 minutes away on foot. Highly recommend "Elizabeth" around the corner on Wharf Street."

"Our stay at Inn at St. John was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The special touches by housekeeping were amazing and truly made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. From the fresh coffee each morning to the beautiful decorations and charming atmosphere, every detail reflected the rich history and character of the inn. The entire staff was exceptional, friendly, and accommodating. A special thank you to the General Manager, who went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Their hospitality and attention to detail made this experience unforgettable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portland, Maine."

"Great place to stay! Parking is easy (one car per room clearly marked). Breakfast is healthy with fresh fruit of all kinds, yogurt, cereals, fresh bread products to toast, good coffee. If you need bacon and eggs you can easily find it nearby. "
