"Not worth the price. I stayed here plenty of times when it was Blockade Runner. Trailborn has doubled the price and I don’t really see the “upgrades” in the actual room. Shower is a regular tub combo and water pressure is non existent. Thought I’d give it a shot since you can’t beat walking out of your room straight to the beach. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for nowhere near the cost. At least give me a balcony. Nope. It’s clean and the beds are comfy. As soon as I pulled up, the concierge reversed into someone’s vehicle. Won’t be back and I really used to love this place. "

"No issues with air at all. Nice view to the ocean. One car per room so make sure to keep that in mind or pay to park other places. Room was clean and had a great time! "

"This 3-bedroom home was absolutely lovely! The layout is perfect—the first floor has a cozy living area, deck, and a queen bedroom, while the upstairs feels very private with a beautiful master suite and a third bedroom with its own bath. We loved falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean every night. It’s also in a fantastic location; we walked to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars every day. Highly recommend!""

"Fantastic ocean beach view from the balcony! Could see Wilmington buildings a few miles to the South. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach road! Walk the beach 1.5 miles northward the the ocean "river" flowing into the salt water marsh...Amazing!"
