3. Bright Coastal Chalet Near Dartmouth | Sleeps 4

Dartmouth

"We were disappointed that there was no coastal path or pavements to walk into Dartmouth, we had to get taxi’s in and out (highly recommend Mickey’s taxi - helpful, friendly and reasonable prices). Curtain track broken. The bedrooms were small though the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Kitchen modern with all facilities. Living area could be updated. There was only one fan, we visited during the heatwave and struggled, would be good to have one per room."

9. Sheena's Dartmouth Chalets

Dartmouth

"This was my second visit to this accommodation and it was just as good as the first. The chalet has everything you could need for a self-catering facility. Clean, with also plenty of good quality towels. There is also plenty of parking space. As this was a summer stay, there were plenty of families with children and dogs. There are no facilities for children to play on so you do need to entertain them. Even with small children and dogs, the chalet park was very quiet and everyone very friendly....

"We had a lovely stay in the Sea View chalet! The view is breathtaking. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. Sharon from the Property Management company was very friendly and easy to coordinate with for check in and check out. The kitchen contained all of the cookware and utensils that you could need. Lots of towels were left for us. The beaches are beautiful, and we enjoyed walking the coast paths to Jennycliff and Heybrook Bay. We enjoyed watching the storms...

8/10 Good

"."

Royal Seven Stars Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all our meals were tasty with decent portions. The staff members, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Parking is tight with there being only a small car park so other parking options may need to be considered before arrival."

Stoke Lodge Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The room was very comfortable, the staff were excellent. We loved the ambience and the food There was nothing we disliked except the proximity of the village church which insisted on striking every quarter hour day and night. It was an unusually warm night in October so we had the window open so I would advise using earplugs if the window is open."
