Arizona Grand Resort & Spa

"The resort was nice, clean, and well-maintained overall. We did experience a minor issue with our room upon arrival. Although we had booked a suite online, we were initially assigned a much smaller room with only one bed because the resort had been overbooked. As a family of four with an 8-month-old baby, we specifically needed a suite with separate living and sleeping areas so our baby could nap comfortably. My husband explained our situation and requested the room type we had reserved, but the issue was not resolved at first. After I called the front desk, they quickly addressed the problem and handled the situation very professionally. We were moved to a great room that met our needs and made the rest of our stay much more enjoyable. The room was a bit farther from the water park than we would have preferred, but it was spacious, comfortable, and well worth the move. Overall, despite the initial inconvenience, we had a positive experience and appreciated how the staff ultimately resolved the issue."

Drury Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport

"I was pleasantly surprised by the property. The lobby was large and open, very nice to hang out in. The staff were super friendly. I appreciated the free airport shuttle, free nightly cocktails (you get 3, beer, wine or mixed drink), free appetizers (there was pulled BBQ pork sliders, hot dog, coleslaw, baked potato, chili, tortilla chips with cheese sauce, etc.), free breakfast, free fresh popcorn, good internet, good selection of TV channels. They also have a full bar. Expedrinks, but if you miss happy hour, it's nice to have it there. Also a grill you could order food from, which I didn't use so I have no review. The breakfast was fine, pretty standard, but the hard boiled eggs had a weird taste. In the room, I couldn't see a picking bolt when I used it, but in addition, it did have that metal flap to use similar to a chain. I was alone, but still felt safe. The room was quiet, I never heard neighbors, pool conversations, freeway or planes and I stayed in tge summer on Saturday abd Sunday night. I was on the 3rd floor facing west. Overall, I was very impressed and would look for this property again in other states."
