"We stayed in the older section. The room was quite dated, but it was clean and everything worked. The view is impressive. It was good value for the money."

"This is your typical low price motel. Having stayed at another Motel 6 enroute, the same decor was in this property. The room was very spacious with a good view of the historical bridge and Rouge river. The king bed was shoved into a corner, with only one side accessible. We did discover it was movable providing access to both sides, however that put a wall lamp about a foot into the head of the bed. I had read there is no AC and to take a fan. That proved to be a wise suggestion. We stayed 5 nights and we satisfied with our stay."

"Room was clean and great location. Needs upgrades bad. We had a toilet that looked like it came out of a daycare. It was so small. The floor had soft spots like you could fall through. Convienient to beach and fun light show. Beautiful sunsets and great grab and go breakfast"

"Quite good overall. Good location. There was not much of a buffer between our ground floor unit and the one above us. You could easily hear and almost feel every foot step of the people staying in the unit above. There was a refrigerator in the room but no microwave. There is no free breakfast stuff. Staff interactions went great. Stern notice in writing attached to front desk panel said if you cause any problems whatsoever you will be kicked out no questions asked and forfeit any money you paid. Like for example, if someone is rude to a staff member. It just seemed so direct and scary. I made sure to keep a very low profile. I was very kind and friendly in my limited interactions with staff and I made sure I did not cause any problems. Wi Fi was slow and glitchy. We stayed three nights and had a good experience overall. I regret not trying out the swimming pool as it looked nice. I would stay here again. I quite liked it overall. Thanks!"
