"After a cancelled flight we booked this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer. The girl that checked us in was wonderful, handed us a bottle of water, arranged a bagged breakfast and an airport shuttle. The room was beautiful and clean. Would definitely stay again."

"I had a wonderful stay! The customer service was excellent, and the staff made me feel so welcome and well taken care of. The location was perfect, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel had such a warm, cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Everything made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!"

"Excellent location! Pretty boutique hotel. Very personal touch. Arrival local cider welcome drinks on arrival. Very accommodating from early check in to room with a view! Pub was right up our street! Met chris at the harbour office right at front of the hotel. Already planning next year’s trip! Tracy on front desk great! See you next year."

"Michael who worked at the hotel was super helpful! There was an issue that was Expedia’s mistake but the hotel stepped up and helped me through it as Expedia was no help whatsoever. The property was very clean and rooms were great. Will definitely be coming back here."

"On the whole the facility was good. Bed was comfortable. Instructions for the TV was helpful. Clean, lots of towels, soap etc. the kitchen could use a toaster, scissors, cutting board, big knives and serving spoons. The location was excellent. Views are wonderful. Interesting restaurants and shops. On the whole great stay"

The Cottages on Salt Spring Island

"The cottage was very pretty .... nice fireplace, beautiful deck and lake view, comfortably furnished. We weren't aware that there would be many stairs leading from the parking area to the cottage. Fortunately, we have the mobility to manage those stairs and carry our luggage, but many people our age would have difficulty. We were disappointed that we couldn't check in until 5:00. A 4:00 check in would enable guests to settle in and begin their vacation time more comfortably. We felt that the kitchen facilities could have been cleaner. The oven had not been cleaned for a long time, and the dish drying rack, and the kitchen sinks needed a good scrub. We also gave the fridge interior a wipe-down."
